BAREFOOT GLOW – SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Last updated: 14 September 2026
Thank you for shopping with Barefoot Glow.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process, dispatch and deliver orders placed through our online store.
By placing an order with Barefoot Glow, you acknowledge and agree to the shipping terms below, subject always to your rights under applicable South African law.
1. DELIVERY WITHIN SOUTH AFRICA
Barefoot Glow currently delivers orders within South Africa using Aramex Store-to-Door courier services.
Orders are delivered to the delivery address supplied by the customer during checkout.
Please ensure that your delivery address, contact number and other delivery information are correct before completing your order.
2. DELIVERY TIME
Our estimated delivery time is:
8–11 business days.
The delivery period refers to business days and excludes weekends and South African public holidays.
Delivery times are estimates and are not a guarantee of delivery on a specific date unless Barefoot Glow has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Delivery may take longer in certain circumstances, including but not limited to:
-
Courier delays;
-
Severe weather;
-
Public holidays;
-
High-volume periods;
-
Remote delivery locations;
-
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
-
Failed delivery attempts;
-
Customer unavailability;
-
Address changes requested after dispatch;
-
Operational disruptions affecting the courier;
-
Unforeseen events beyond Barefoot Glow's reasonable control; or
-
Other circumstances affecting the courier network.
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that orders are dispatched and delivered within the stated timeframe.
3. COURIER SERVICE
Orders are shipped using:
Aramex Store-to-Door
Once your order has been dispatched, you may receive tracking information where available.
The courier may contact you using the contact information provided with your order.
Please ensure that you are available to receive your parcel or that an authorised person is available to accept delivery on your behalf.
4. COURIER DELAYS
Barefoot Glow works with third-party courier providers to deliver orders.
Although we aim to ensure that orders arrive within the estimated 8–11 business-day period, circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally cause a delay.
Examples include courier operational disruptions, severe weather, traffic disruptions, public holidays, incorrect address information, failed delivery attempts and other unforeseen events.
Barefoot Glow will not be responsible for delays caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, provided that we have complied with our obligations under applicable South African law.
Where a courier delay occurs, Barefoot Glow will make reasonable efforts to assist the customer and, where appropriate, communicate with the courier regarding the status of the shipment.
This clause does not exclude or limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
5. ORDERS THAT EXCEED THE ESTIMATED DELIVERY PERIOD
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery period, please contact Barefoot Glow so that we can investigate the shipment.
We may contact Aramex to obtain an updated delivery status or investigate a delayed shipment.
If an order remains undelivered beyond the applicable period agreed between Barefoot Glow and the customer, the customer's rights will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African consumer law.
For electronic transactions, ECTA provides specific rules concerning the execution of orders and consumer cancellation rights where an order is not executed within the agreed period.
6. TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Where tracking is available, Barefoot Glow will provide the customer with the relevant tracking information after the order has been dispatched.
Customers should use the tracking information to monitor the progress of their shipment.
If tracking information shows that a delivery attempt was unsuccessful, the customer may need to contact the courier or arrange a suitable delivery time.
7. INCORRECT DELIVERY INFORMATION
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.
This includes:
-
Full name;
-
Correct street address;
-
Correct suburb;
-
Correct city/town;
-
Correct postal code; and
-
Valid telephone/contact details.
Barefoot Glow cannot guarantee successful delivery where incorrect, incomplete or outdated information was supplied by the customer.
If an incorrect address results in additional courier charges, a failed delivery or the parcel being returned to Barefoot Glow, we may contact the customer to arrange the next appropriate step.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory consumer rights.
8. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
If the courier is unable to deliver because the customer is unavailable, provides incorrect information or otherwise prevents delivery, the courier may make another delivery attempt or follow its applicable procedures.
Additional charges may apply where the courier charges for redelivery as a result of circumstances attributable to the customer.
Where such charges arise, Barefoot Glow will communicate the relevant information to the customer before requiring payment, where reasonably possible.
9. DAMAGED PACKAGES
Customers should inspect their package when it is delivered.
If the package appears visibly damaged, customers should, where reasonably possible, document the damage with photographs and contact Barefoot Glow as soon as possible.
If the product itself has been damaged or is defective, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy.
Barefoot Glow will investigate reported damage and work with the courier where appropriate.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. LOST OR UNDELIVERED ORDERS
If your order appears to have been lost or cannot be delivered, please contact Barefoot Glow.
We will investigate the shipment with the courier and take reasonable steps to determine its status.
Where applicable, Barefoot Glow will provide the remedy required under South African consumer law.
Customers should not assume that a parcel is lost solely because tracking has not updated for a short period, as courier tracking systems may sometimes take time to update.
11. DELIVERY TO REMOTE AREAS
Certain areas may require additional delivery time depending on courier coverage and operational conditions.
Where additional delivery time is reasonably expected, Barefoot Glow may notify the customer where possible.
Any delivery estimate remains subject to the courier's service coverage and applicable circumstances.
12. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS
Our stated delivery period of 8–11 business days excludes:
-
Saturdays;
-
Sundays; and
-
South African public holidays.
Orders placed immediately before or during public holidays may therefore take longer to arrive.
13. ORDER PROCESSING
Orders will be processed after successful confirmation of payment.
Processing and dispatch times may vary depending on stock availability and order volume.
Where a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Barefoot Glow will contact the customer and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable law.
14. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY AFTER DISPATCH
Customers are expected to monitor their delivery where tracking information is provided and to respond to reasonable courier communications.
Customers should also ensure that someone is available to receive the parcel where required.
However, customer responsibilities under this policy do not remove any statutory obligations that apply to Barefoot Glow.
15. DELIVERY RISK AND CONSUMER RIGHTS
Barefoot Glow will comply with applicable South African consumer-protection legislation concerning delivery and the risk associated with goods before acceptance by the consumer.
Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to transfer legal responsibility to the customer where South African law requires that responsibility to remain with the supplier.
16. CHANGES TO DELIVERY TIMES
Barefoot Glow may experience circumstances that temporarily affect normal delivery times.
Where we become aware of a significant delay affecting an order, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the affected customer and provide an updated delivery estimate.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived.
Barefoot Glow reserves the right to update this Shipping & Delivery Policy when reasonably necessary to reflect changes to our business practices, courier arrangements or applicable legislation.
